First, go to the AccessMedicine link (above) or go to AccessMedicine from the Library homepage. Click on the down arrow to the right of "Sign In" on the top right corner of the screen. You will be asked to input an email, then you will get a "Create an account form to fill out and select a password that is different from your University account. Micromedex is an IU Health App. You will need to be on the University's VPN (Virtual Private Network) You may need to use your University login to get to the VPN information. A lot of data will be downloaded with this app. note: the Micromedex drug information is also available as part of the Dynamedex app. You may also need to go to the app>>>settings>>>update content for the app to work.
Best done on your mobile phone, click on the link above, and look for the mobile link in the horizontal black bar, you should see "Register or Log in to get the uCentral app. Click on "Log in" and you will see "Log in" OR "Register for a free account with Indiana University..." Select "Register for a free account" and uCentral should be the first choice, click on the green button to continue and set up your free account. Once setup, download the uCentral App and use the account information to unlock the app. Included: John Hopkins ABX and Calculators.

Access UpToDate (IU Health app) via the link above (you may be asked to login first using your IU username and passphrase first. Important: you should see "Indiana University Health" in the upper right of the screen, and right next to it a dropdown arrow). Clicking the dropdown arrow will give you several options, choose "register." Use your IU email address, and select an account username and password (different from your IU one). Use your new account to unlock the app. Limited to 2 mobile devices. You need to login via the above link and login to your personal UpToDate account every 90 days to keep the app working on your phone.

Build a custom differential diagnosis. Click on the link above, you may need to login in first with your IU credentials to get to VisualDx. Once at the VisualDx main screen, click on "Activate Personal Account" located mid-screen, and set up a personal account with your email and password.
