So I'm trying to hurry up and finish Tom Jone's. I am going to start the Icewind Dale Trilogy, Dungeons and Dragons Series. I'm going to start this one first merely becuase it is a three part series and all three books combined will barley match up to the one book I have just read. Then I'm moving on the the Wheel of time series. There are 15 books. This will probably take up the whole lot of the year. The first book it's self has as many pages as the book I am reading now. I have tons of reading to do. I hope I finish the series sooner though, as I do want to read other books.

I also want to start collecting the Coralie Bickford Smith Collection, a beautiful series of cloth covered books. I think I'm going to start with buying 1-2 a month depending. Barns' and Nobles is cheaper than Borders by about half, and if I buy a few, I'll get few shipping. But I think these are some great goals to start my new year!

I laugh when I read people's blogs, or profiles. The generic "Hi I'm__. I'm _ Years old. I"m  single". It's so cliché. Why must people announce that they are single? I think this is the thing that irritates me the most. It doesn't matter if you're single. I didn't ask you. If I wanted to know I would go to your profile and look at relationship status. And regardless, is it even my business?

What is the best book you've read this year, and why?

So far I have only read a few books this year to my dismay. I read Persuasion and Emma by Jane Austen. The Great Gatsby. I am currently reading, and am hoping to finish by new year, The History of Tom Jones: A Foundling. i have been trying to accomplish reading this book for years. I am 300 pages away, and am more determined than ever. Mainly because I would like to read other books also. But by far Tom Jones is becoming one of my favorite books, as well as the author. The way he writes, with elegance. It's just wonderful. It also gives a wonderful glimpse into the mid 1700's life.

I am intruged with this book because it has been linked to Jane Austen. Tom Jone's was Tom Lefroy's favorite book. Tom Lefroy is said to be Jane Austen's lover. There is speculation that they had a deep relationship.

This is one of the only decent questions I have seen on lj. I would really like more thoughtful questions.

I've never heard of this site, though I have seen books created for lists, once I have the time I will decorate it and go crazzzy :)
