WHO WE ARE
Illawarra Schools Workplace Learning Program Incorporated (Workplace Learning) has been in operation since 1997. Workplace Learning supports young people to make the transition from school to further education and training, and/or work. Workplace Learning (WL) provides programs that increase young people’s knowledge and capability to make informed decisions regarding their further education, training, and employment.
WL supports young people to develop their employability skills through creating work placement opportunities, providing advice, mentoring and guidance, thereby giving young people the best possible chance of success. This includes identifying existing skills and career interests, as well as helping them overcome barriers to engaging in education, training or employment.
Workplace Learning is a Not-for-Profit For-Purpose locally based organisation servicing the Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Shoalhaven, the South Coast and Far South Coast with offices in Albion Park and Nowra.
