iStoria

Developed by Oxford University Press, iStoria is an English language learning app that allows you to learn English in a much more natural way than with other apps. With this tool, you won't just have the occasional gap-filling exercise, you also get access to a library full of books, which are available both to read and to listen to.

You'll need a user account to use iStoria. The easiest way to log in to the app is through your Google or Facebook profile. When you do this, you will only have to give your name and your age. After that, it is best to take the test to find out your current level. The results of this test will help the app determine whether you need to start studying with the more basic concepts of the language or if you can directly progress to more advanced activities.

Limitless studying

Just as with other language apps, like Duolingo and Busuu, iStoria allows you to choose how much time you want to dedicate to your studies every day. This means that, if you only have fifteen minutes a day while riding the subway, you can simply dedicate that amount of time to it.
