Culture and Vocation at ISI
The Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) is committed to educating for liberty. We believe higher education should introduce students to the permanent things, preserve the history of Western civilization, and promote free speech and open discourse. Through this work, we equip undergraduates to become virtuous leaders—in their families, churches, professions, and, ultimately, at the highest levels of American public life.
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals committed to empowering the next generation of thinkers and leaders while building one another up in the process. As a part of our team, you’ll join our effort to reach, teach, and launch young conservatives who are prepared to carry the permanent things into the future.
From fundraising and development to campus programs and the Collegiate Network, every department has the chance to engage with thought-provoking ideas and make a lasting impact on our organization. We engage undergraduate students, scholars and professors, alumni, and like-minded supporters to cultivate a community of thoughtful, intellectual conservatives who are dedicated to enduring truths.
ISI values the professional growth of its staff as well. Employees at every level have the opportunity to learn and grow with peers and senior team members. Each individual is encouraged to develop their professional skills and deepen their understanding of ISI’s mission, creating a workplace where intellectual exploration is both supported and celebrated.
Moreover, our office is nestled in the historic and picturesque Brandywine Valley, just outside of Philadelphia. This scenic setting provides a rich backdrop for our work, allowing you to immerse yourself in the area’s cultural and historical landscape. The beauty of the Brandywine Valley, combined with the cultural vibrancy of nearby Philadelphia, offers an unparalleled experience for living and working. This makes ISI a great place to thrive professionally and personally. From weekend visits to local museums and gardens, to enjoying the region’s deep Revolutionary War heritage, staff find themselves surrounded by a landscape that reflects the values they uphold.
