Iren from Iren’s Design studio, has a great eye for design and our finished kitchen looks amazing. We wanted to lighten up our kitchen/diner and she had the great idea of enlarging the window between our kitchen and conservatory, bringing the glass right down to the countertop. It was a really effective way of letting more light in , and looks amazing.
We also wanted to create a sense of separate zones between kitchen and dining space, this was achieved by using dark grey units in the dining area in contrast to the bright white kitchen ones.
We wanted clean lines and opted for handle less doors and drawers . The self opening and closing mechanism has taken a bit of getting used to , but they look great. The units are good quality and have a lovely smooth texture. We are particularly pleased with the quartz work top which has a beautiful finish.
Having a whole kitchen fitted is a big upheaval , and inevitably there were a few hitches along the way, but Iren was always quick to respond and help sort things out.
We were lucky to have a great builder too ( recommended by Iren) which really helped.
We are really pleased with the final result, and all our visitors have said the kitchen looks amazing 🤩

Iren at IN Design Kitchens & Living Spaces, recently re-designed and fitted our utility room, turning it from an unloved and cluttered space, into a modern and much more organised room.
The design done by Iren has maximized the available space, and added considerably more storage, whilst allowing more light into the room.
We were very happy with the fitting process, which was completed with minimal disruption and mess, and the end result looks exactly as we’d hoped.

Adaptable Kitchen Design
Our journey with ‘In Design Kitchens’ has been rather protracted, beginning with a recommendation from our previous kitchen designer. We needed a complete refurbishment of said area to update and provide a different and more modern perspective; most notably this was going to include a small round projection into the garden to accommodate a curve housing the sink and other units, no-one else seemed to be able to draw the curve on plan for the design to provide the correct housings – but Iren could where others had failed! To be succinct, six months later the building issues cost had risen exponentially and our original design became, to our very great disappointment, untenable. We decided to use the room’s original sleeve, Iren rose to the challenge of adapting the kitchen range and each pored-over choice of cabinets, light fittings and appliances within this different space, taking time to allow us to consider all the implications and tweaks we wanted; she was adaptable and patient with her pernickety clients! Iren welcomed us to the showroom and visited site whenever necessary and found numerous samples for us to peruse. Iren listened to us and we were able to plan the building works required for preparation and to include some materials we had particularly wanted, such as the floor tiles where she was helpful with the sourcing and to make the best choice. When the space was ready to fit, her Kitchen Fitter, Pete, was careful and meticulous. So, what about the end result? … Stylish, modern, well considered design with quality components. We love it!

Iren always went beyond her duties as a designer, she helped us with choosing paint colour, floorings, and organising our builder and kitchen fitter. Our front patio needed a lot of work. A lot of uneven steps and half the existing tiles were either broken or had come off. The step onto the kerb was broken. Iren’s tiler did an amazing job levelling all steps and the Ca’Pietra flagstones look fantastic. And it all come to below the other two estimates I got!

Iren is not your run of the mill kitchen designer, she is amazing: she combines an eye for detail in the planning stage with her natural artistic flair to produce beautiful kitchens that are also totally practical. I have used her three times in the past to design kitchens for the quality rental properties I manage for clients, and will be asking her to do another later this year for our own home which is being totally refurbished. I found this brilliant design showroom on Hawkhurst High Street when they first opened, and was extremely impressed by the designer Iren’s style & knowledge of planning, together with the choice of tiles, product, lighting & wallpaper and the showroom design.
