The International Pig Veterinary Society (IPVS) is a global association dedicated to specialists in pig health and production. Founded in 1967, the objectives of the Society are the following:

  • The holding of international congresses for the exchange of knowledge related to pig health and production.
  • The promotion of the formation of Pig Veterinary Societies in all pig producing countries and promotion of cooperation between such societies.
  • The provision of bursaries as rewards for outstanding research and the reporting of such research at IPVS congresses in either poster or oral format.
