Tree Tops — Nesting season has arrived for the blue herons, and it never stops amazing me how these large birds settle high in the tallest trees, stepping across branches as gracefully as if they were walking the shoreline.

Great pics! Every so often we get a blue heron that stops at our pond for a short time. They are beautiful!
It seems like one false move and the heron will come tumbling down – hopefully not, especially if offspring are involved!
