Cooperation Development
What is about?
The “Cooperation Development” program is being implemented in the intervention area of Parnonas, aiming to support cooperative entrepreneurship and the local ecosystem. It includes the exploration and promotion of strategies to retain the local population through the development of alternative tourism.
The project is being implemented by Parnonas Development S.A. with the support of InterMediaKT, within the framework of the Interterritorial Cooperation Plan “Cooperation Development,” which is part of the local LEADER/CLLD program, sub-measure 19.3, Measure 19 of the RDP (Rural Development Program) 2014–2020.

Representatives of organizations & local bodies
Local authorities
Social enterprises, Social Cooperative Enterprises (KOINSEP), and entities of the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE)
Residents interested in getting involved in tourism development
Local populations who have moved to large urban centers for employment
Anyone who wishes to return to the countryside.

Our documentary with best practices
What happens when creativity meets cooperation? How can local communities evolve and develop an entrepreneurial community and ecosystem?
Parnonas S.A., with the support of InterMediaKT, sought to answer these questions by meeting four remarkable people from the wider Parnonas region.
We visited Ano Doliana, Tyros, and of course Leonidio, where local people shared their stories.
