Intergraph Smart 3D

Intergraph Smart 3D is an intelligent, rule- and specification-driven 3D modeling solution for the process, power, and marine industries. It unifies plant, offshore, and ship design in a single, data-centric environment, enabling engineers and designers to create and manage equipment layouts, piping systems, structural steel, HVAC, and cable trays, as well as marine hull and outfitting.

Built for concurrent, multi-discipline work, Smart 3D supports global collaboration through a central model with integrated clash detection, design rules, and change management. It automates the production of consistent deliverables—such as orthographic drawings, isometrics, bills of materials, and material takeoffs—directly from the model, helping reduce rework and shorten project schedules.

Smart 3D integrates with the broader Intergraph Smart/SmartPlant portfolio for P&IDs, materials management, and information management, supporting an end-to-end digital workflow from concept through detailed design and construction. Its data-centric approach provides a single source of truth across project stakeholders and streamlines handover to operations.
