Intel DnX USB Driver

A system driver that enables Windows to recognize Intel SoC–based devices when they are booted into DNX (Download and eXecute) mode. DNX is a pre‑boot service state used for low‑level flashing, recovery, and factory provisioning. With this driver installed, service tools can communicate with the device to transfer boot stages, IFWI/BIOS components, and firmware images even when the operating system will not start.

Key points:

  • Purpose: Provides the USB interface required to talk to Intel Atom–class devices (e.g., Bay Trail, Cherry Trail) in DNX mode.
  • Typical uses: Unbricking, firmware updates or downgrades, IFWI/BIOS repair, and mass provisioning.
  • Works with: Common Intel flashing utilities and related service tools.
  • Platform support: Windows 7–11, 32‑ and 64‑bit.
  • Notes: Some packages may be unsigned; you might need to allow installation of unsigned drivers on certain systems. Misuse of flashing tools can permanently damage a device—proceed only if you know the exact images and steps required.
