Today, my grandson was on the computer and after he left, I have a background music that overrides the vocal speech. The only way to shut down the music is to mute the system but that mutes vocal speech too. How do I get rid of the background music and keep the vocal speech from the Internet?

In order to get rid of the background music, press Alt + Ctrl + Delete key combination, open Task Manager and close all unnecessary applications/games that may produce the background music. If it doesn't help, reboot your PC. This should fix it.
In order to your microphone to work you need to install the driver. If you have installed the driver and your microphone still does not work go to Control Panel > Sound > Recording > Microphone and set up the parameters. After that open Intel Audio Studio go to settings and set up there the microphone.
I cannot get Intel Audio Studio to work in Windows Vista. The sound works but the AMP is not. I tried different drivers from Intel site without success. Can you help?

In order to solve the issues, go to Start, type dxdiag in the Search programs and files field and open the utility. Click the Sound card, check exactly your audio card model and download and install the latest drivers from Intel Download Center. Alternatively, you can use Intel Driver Update Utility which automatically finds and installs the latest drivers for your Intel system. If you still have issues, try running the utility using Windows Vista Compatibility Mode.
