Eligibility
  • Open to all high school students (grades 9–12), from anywhere in the world.

  • Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to 4 members.

  • All participants must register prior to the event

  • No prior coding or hackathon experience is required.

Project & Submission Requirements
  • All projects must be created during the official hackathon period.

  • Submissions must include:

    • A working prototype (e.g., website, app, or tech solution)

    • A written description explaining the problem and your solution

    • A GitHub repository link (if applicable)

    • A 1–3 minute demo video (hosted on YouTube or Vimeo)

  • All entries must be submitted via Devpost by 11:00 AM (ET) on July 12, 2024

Prizes
  • Awards will be given for:

    • First, second, and third place overall

Judging Criteria

Submissions will be evaluated based on:

  • Innovation: Originality and creativity of the idea

  • Impact: Relevance and potential for positive change

  • Technical Complexity: Depth and quality of the implementation

  • User Experience: Usability, design, and accessibility

  • Presentation: Clarity and effectiveness of the demo and written materials

Winner Selection
  • Projects will be judged by a panel of professionals in technology, policy, and education.

  • Winners will be selected based on the judging criteria and announced during the final ceremony.
