About the challenge

This is technically a week-long event! From Monday to Friday, we will be hosting workshops for newbies to get a good grasp on resources/tools to use for the hackathon! On Friday we release the theme and hacking begins!

You will be able to learn from academic experts, tech specialists, and even engineering teachers. InnoHacks is designed to cater to both seasoned hackers and newcomers. NO CODING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!

Requirements

What to Build

An application, a website, or even a mock-up are the projects we are looking for. It can emphasize aesthetics, design, or both! The prompt will be announced on Friday & check Rules section for additional info.

What to Submit

  • A video (pitch) of your product which is a maximum of 5 minutes
  • If you used code, it must be made available in some sort of repository (like GitHub)

  • Sustainability
    Does this project have practical value in addressing real-world issues?
  • Innovation
    To what extent does this project stand out as a fresh, original idea? Has it been presented before?
  • Aesthetics
    Does this project have an attractive and user-friendly design that enhances the user's experience?
  • Technical Complexity
    To what degree does the project employ advanced technical features and present a complex solution? But to those who are making no-code solutions, emphasize criteria #2 & #3 above!
