About the Spring-Fed Pool

It’s one of the most unique outdoor pools in Texas — spring-fed, oak-shaded, and open to day visitors and overnight guests alike.

The pool at Inez Spring is fed by a natural spring that surfaces right on the property. That spring water keeps the pool cooler than a standard chlorinated setup, with temperatures in the mid-70s even when the air is pushing triple digits. The pool measures roughly 40 by 80 feet, making it one of the larger spring-fed swimming spots in this part of Texas.

A canopy of mature live oaks shades about half the deck area, which means you can actually sit poolside in July without baking. The rest of the deck gets full sun for anyone who wants to work on their tan. Lounge chairs line both sides, and the cabana rentals sit along the shaded perimeter.

The water is treated and maintained to health-code standards, but the spring feed means it has that slightly mineral character you notice at natural swimming holes. It is a different feel from a hotel pool, in a good way.
