About the Spring-Fed Pool
The pool at Inez Spring is fed by a natural spring that surfaces right on the property. That spring water keeps the pool cooler than a standard chlorinated setup - expect temperatures in the mid-70s even when the air is pushing triple digits. The pool measures roughly 40 by 80 feet, making it one of the larger spring-fed swimming spots in this part of Texas.
A canopy of mature live oaks shades about half the deck area, which means you can actually sit poolside in July without baking. The rest of the deck gets full sun for anyone who wants to work on their tan. Lounge chairs line both sides, and the cabana rentals sit along the shaded perimeter.
The water is treated and maintained to health-code standards, but the spring feed means it has that slightly mineral character you notice at natural swimming holes. It is a different feel from a hotel pool, in a good way.
What to Know Before You Visit
For RV and campsite guests: Your stay includes two complimentary pool passes. Additional guest passes are available at the front office.
For day visitors: Pool passes can be purchased for single-day or seasonal access. Day passes let you use the pool, deck, and common areas. Check the Pool Passes page for current pricing.
What to bring: Towels, sunscreen, and water shoes if you prefer them. No glass containers are allowed on the pool deck. You can bring your own food and drinks in non-glass containers - there are picnic tables near the pool for eating.
For families: The pool does not have a separate shallow end or kiddie area. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, and there are no lifeguards on duty. The deepest section is approximately 5 feet.
Cabana reservations: The poolside cabanas seat up to 12 people and are available for half-day or full-day rental. They include shade, seating, and a semi-private area along the pool perimeter. Reservations are recommended on weekends and holidays - they fill up. See Cabana Rentals for details.
