Meet Our Co-Leads

Nancy Nagel is a community organizer in the San Francisco Bay Area, and co-founder of Indivisible Mid-Peninsula. She has organized with the Harris for President Georgia Voter Protection Team and Faith in Action Bay Area, and previously held senior roles at Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and the City of Palo Alto Administrative Services (finance) Department. She is a graduate of Brown University (BA) and the Stanford Graduate School of Business (MBA).

Susan Austin is a democracy and climate advocate, and co-founder of Indivisible Mid-Peninsula. Her entree into political organizing was in college, working to pass the CA bottle bill. Currently she serves in volunteer roles with Climate Reality Project, Environmental Voters, and the North Carolina Voter Assistance Hotline. Susan’s profession was focused on increasing the impact of the social sector, with leadership roles at the Stanford Alumni Consulting Team, EdSource and Leadership Palo Alto. She holds degrees from UC Berkeley (BA) and the University of Chicago (AM).
