Happy (belated) Birthday, Deb!! Once again, I live up to my reputation of being potentially the most disorganized person alive. Sorry I'm late--hope it was a great day!
P.S. I wasn't any more organized with the gift sending...but it's-a comin'.

Happy Birthday, Foxy!!!
And I have no doubt these idiots really think the public will have no issue. Terrifyingly, they might be right!!

Christmas present to myself has been installed! I am now the proud owner of my very own DVR. So when I go to the late shift next month, my television needs are covered. Whee!
Happy Birthday, Mishi!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FOXY!!
Last day off today, and was relatively productive. We finished organizing the warehouse that is our garage, leaving a nice space in the middle for a crafting area and for my housemate's boys to mess around if they want to. Brought the last of the stuff in that I intend to arrange in my new cave. Still have the final touches to take care of, including hooking up the printer. The software and cables managed to get packed somewhere other than the actual device. We had a devil of a time finding the software, and methinks the cables will just have to be replaced. A jaunt to Best Buy is planned for next week. But whilst we rummaged through the boxes I found my long missing HA CD and promptly played it at top volume. My housemate came in, head tilted and looking curious. She thought one of the songs sounded very Hawaiian. *amused smile* Do I smell another convert?
Back to work tomorrow. Not really looking forward to it, but I suppose I will get through just like the last week. Housemate's father arrived back in town today to deal with house closing issues. I picked him up at the airport, and ran by the center beforehand to hit the ATM. A company credit union is great, but not when the only ATM that doesn't ding you with a usage fee is in your place of employment. I just told everyone I was a figment of their imagination. They were selling green burgers. Ish. Tell me again why I moved to the chili pepper capital of the world when I don't like the silly things?

I've survived my first week at the new Center. We were very busy, not only offering voluntary OT every day, but actually having mandatory OT! Tell me again how we didn't need three of our res centers? They say they were expecting only @ 300 agents to transfer and ended up with more like 800. All I can say is thank God for that extra 500 or I think I'd still be at work fielding calls!

You are somewhere in-between Good and Dark side
geek. You have been known to game, spend too
much time on your computer, or feel moody after
watching Bladerunner. This is not bad, you are
probably just really involved with your own
world of thoughts or are shy. You might try to
expand your horizions. It won't make you less
of a geek, but it might give you new ideas and
social grace.
how seriously geeky are you?

We have officially arrived in Albuquerque. It took a marathon drive of about 14 hours. It rained from the time we crossed the OK border until we reached ABQ (and then we ran into snow!). OK highways are nightmarish and have a tendency to flood, spawning spontaneous hydroplaning of automobiles. Of course, this had to happen while I was driving. Nonetheless, we made it to New Mexico. The house wasn't ready for habitation when we got here, so we all checked into a hotel for two nights while the new carpeting was installed and we painted. My housemate chose a school bus yellow shade that works amazingly well. She is going with an island theme. Did I mention she's from Hawaii? Once we get it together I will post pictures.
NM is nice, weather is odd. I've started finding my way around and went back to work on Thursday. We won't even put that quarter in me for now. I'll just say I'm stressed out and leave it at that. New cable access internet is working after some hair-pulling and threats of the Sacred Sledgehammer. Sadly, I haven't had nearly enough time to loll about for hours yet. I have hopes that it will happen eventually, though!
So, I'm here. All in one piece. Details to follow as the adventure continues...

Umm....just a few days ago? I finally went to a regular paid account, in the hopes that I would be enticed to update more often.
