California Alliance for Minority Participation – CAMP

CAMP is dedicated to providing service to students in STEM with resources, information, and opportunities to thrive in their degree programs. This is accomplished by creating a space that fosters communication, encourages authenticity, honors intersectionality, and strengthens a sense of community for its members.

Equity Advisors

An Equity Advisor (EA) is a Senate faculty member at the equivalent of the associate or full professor rank who is appointed by the Office of Inclusive Excellence to advance community building and offer faculty support through education, attention to equity concerns, and resource development. These activities will promote the success of all faculty, including those who have not historically been afforded equal opportunity in higher education.

Foundations of Inclusive Excellence Workshops

This series provides a foundational understanding of identity, belonging, power, and equity in higher education and beyond. Through interactive discussions and skill-building activities, participants move from awareness of identity and belonging, to courage in confronting power and systemic inequities, to empowerment through allyship and restorative practices. Each session equips participants with practical tools for reflection, dialogue, and action to foster more inclusive and equitable communities at UC Irvine.
