In2scienceUK exists to unlock the potential of young people from low socioeconomic backgrounds and boost diversity and inclusion in the sector to ensure the UK remains at the forefront of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) based industries.
With salaries in STEM being 20% higher than other sectors, this helps young people progress to better-paid jobs and economic stability.
Our programmes
Our three dynamic programmes are your gateway to a future filled with innovation, discovery, and endless opportunities.

The In2STEM programme (formerly In2science summer programme) is open to year 12 and S5/S6 students, the programme features in-person STEM placements, workshops, skills sessions, panel discussions and public engagement competitions.

In2research is a year-long programme that runs alongside your studies or work. It provides unique experiences that will help you access postgraduate research degrees and careers.
