About me

Hi, my name’s Luke and I’m a British accent coach based in London. I’ve been teaching English learners how to communicate more clearly for over a decade.

I’ve taught students from over 90 different countries and I lecture at the Summer Course in English Phonetics at University College London (UCL).

I have qualifications in languages, acting, teaching and phonetics. I’m a member of the International Phonetic Association.

In 2017 I won UK Freelancer of the Year.

I’ve been asked to talk about accents by BBC Radio, Times Radio, The Evening Standard and Rosetta Stone among others.
