Custom fields

Custom fields can be added to tasks to provide necessary information through various types of fields. If no custom field is specified, the task won’t have corresponding functionality. Once at least one custom field is added, a new “Custom fields” block and an “Add custom field” button will appear in the dialog box when editing or creating a task.

What custom fields exist in the service

There are several custom fields available for fine-tuning the task environment:

1. Text: Allows adding textual information.
2. Description: provides a space for longer descriptions or notes.
3. Checkbox: can be used for indicating certain statuses or flags.
4. Number: allows input of numerical data.
5. Dropdown: offers a selection of predefined options.
6. Date: specifically for adding dates.
7. Link: allows linking to external resources or documents.
8. Labels: useful for quick access to frequently used resources or commands.
9. Timing: designed for inputting time-related information.

Each of these types enables the addition of relevant information to the task within the generated field. Custom fields appear on the “Tasks” page as new columns with corresponding names.
