iDisk was Apple Computer, Inc.’s cloud-based storage service, introduced with iTools and later included in .Mac and MobileMe. It provided a personal, Internet-accessible disk that mounted in the Mac OS X Finder like a network drive, making it easy to drag and drop files, work offline with local synchronization, and access content from any connected Mac or a web browser.
