PS CS cropping help

Whenever I crop a picture to icon size it gets a paler one-pixel-wide border around it. It doesn't matter if I use regular crop or marquee crop + resize (in the latter case, yes, I had Feather= 0 and anti-alias unchecked). Any help appreciated!
