Organizing Fonts in Photoshop CS

I've just downloaded bunches of fonts in preparation for what I hope will be a weekend of making textual icons and I think I've overwhelmed myself with goodies. Is there a way to organize the fonts in the character palette in PS CS other than the default of alphabetical? Can you make folders? Get them to sort by font type? Serif vs. Sans vs. Script? Or to get a wysiwyg display of them? I see that CS2 has wysiwyg, so I assume the answer is no for plain old CS, but I was hoping there might be a plug-in or the like.

I checked the memories of this group and the PS specific groups mentioned in the memories and didn't see any info on this. If I've been blind due to the lateness of the hour please just point me in the right direction.
