Over 40kb animations

I've been reading around and most people say that they can fit up to 20 or so frames in a mini-movie icon.  I've made two recently and they have less frames, but are way over the limit.  The icons are beind the cut:

 This one has 8 frames if I remember correctly, and its about 80kb

 This one has 14 frames, I think, and it's 120kb.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is there a way to fix this?

I'm using photoshop to edit the image and UnFreeze to animate it.
