Hello! Brushes and Tutorials Question
Hi,
I have several questions. I hope you all can help with some suggestions on how you do these things! :-)
1. Brushes: I'm starting to acquire the megacollection of brushes like I'm sure all of you have. I've saved all my brushes into a Brushes directory, except for border brushes, which I've saved into a Border directory. That's about it with my organization. I want to be able to know which brushes have a particular item in it. Like I have maybe 10 decorative brushes. But one of them has this heart in it I like. I can never seem to find it without picking and poking through those 10 brush sets. Soooo time consuming and frustrating. How do you all know which brush is in what pack? I was considering stamping out each brush onto an image and saving that out with the brush set name, and keeping it in my TexNotes Pro for reference. I suppose I should start keeping the image that the artists makes for displaying which brushes are there, but sometimes that image doesn't have all the brushes. Is there an easier way?
2. Brushes II: Any good suggestions for combining others' brushsets into one? I would probably like a flowers brushset, heart brushset, etc. They'd be my favorites of the sets I'd downloaded. Should I just load all the brushes, delete the ones I don't want and save the remaining as my own set? Is there a better way?
3. Tutorials: How do you save tutorials you like? I don't rely on LJ memories anymore because several times already people have closed their LJs and I've lost the tutorials, or they remove the images and you can't see the images with the tutorial. Right now I'm copying all the good tutorials I want into TexNotes Pro or opening up Outlook and mailing a copy of the tutorial to my Gmail account. If I do either of these things I have both the text and the images. What is everyone else doing beside relying on LJ memories?
Thanks for any suggestions.
