Simple Tutorial
going from
to
using psp8. Slightly image heavy.
1. The base is kind of pale so I enhanced the contrast by going to adjust>brightness and contrast>automatic contrast enhancement and setting it to this:

2. I want to add a bit more colour so I go to adjust>hue and saturation>automatic saturation enhancement and put it on this:
(okay it didn't change that much but there's more colour, right?)
3.That's a pretty good base there. Now I add this gradient (a default with PSP8)
and set it to lighten, opacity 100

4.I took this light texture (if you know who amde this tell me so I can credit!), mirrored it and cropped it down to this:
. Pasted it as new layer. Set it to lighten, opacity 100

5. It all looks good but I felt like the top left-hand corner was too dark, so I randomly smudged the gradient:
to get:
6. I added a small line of random text in #016BE3, size 4 Footlight MT Light. Then added a 1px border in the same colour set on soft light.
