Simple Tutorial

going from Image hosted by Photobucket.com to Image hosted by Photobucket.com using psp8. Slightly image heavy.

1. The base is kind of pale so I enhanced the contrast by going to adjust>brightness and contrast>automatic contrast enhancement and setting it to this:
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

2. I want to add a bit more colour so I go to adjust>hue and saturation>automatic saturation enhancement and put it on this:
Image hosted by Photobucket.com (okay it didn't change that much but there's more colour, right?)

3.That's a pretty good base there. Now I add this gradient (a default with PSP8) Image hosted by Photobucket.com and set it to lighten, opacity 100

4.I took this light texture (if you know who amde this tell me so I can credit!), mirrored it and cropped it down to this: Image hosted by Photobucket.com. Pasted it as new layer. Set it to lighten, opacity 100

5. It all looks good but I felt like the top left-hand corner was too dark, so I randomly smudged the gradient: Image hosted by Photobucket.com to get: Image hosted by Photobucket.com

6. I added a small line of random text in #016BE3, size 4 Footlight MT Light. Then added a 1px border in the same colour set on soft light.
