Need advice on icon making!
Hey! I'd like to know which program you guys think is best for making icons. I currently have PSP 7, but now have the chance to get either Photoshop CS or PSP 9.
In favor of PS CS, most of the tutorials, brushes &etc. you find on the net are made for that. Also, it seems getting text to look good is easier.
In favor of PSP9, unless things have changed radically from PSP7, I know how to handle layers in there, short commands and so forth...
Anything else you feel I need to think about before picking? I mostly use these programs for icons and banners, so super-advanced functions probably aren't going to be an issue...
