With Icon Commander you can create the most beautiful icons according to your taste. The program enables you to design and create your own icons for Windows or Mac. The program works in a very simple manner. All you have to do is to load the picture you want to convert to an icon and then use the program's functions to customize it on your own way. You can use all sort of photos to create your own icons. Maybe you'd like to create an icon with your face or with your friends' mugshots and this software allow to do so.
The program is very easy to use. To create an icon just select the pic you want to use, select one of the many available frames and then click on the create button.
This software is not free. The free trial version is designed to let you see what the program can do, but the images you use will be added with a watermark indicating that you are using a free trial version of the application.
