Mission, Goals & Objectives

Mission: 

To assist low and moderate income individuals with programs and services that helps them reach self-sufficiency,

We accomplish our mission by:

  • providing constructive social, academic, and enterprising activities for youth and young adult from low to moderate income households,
  • providing access to technology that help individuals prepare for the world of work,
  • providing, facilitating and advocating for training that lead to trade skills, credentials and certification required by industries,  
  • assisting small, minority and disadvantaged business concerns startup or expand a business venture through direct services, marketing & promotion and effective public policy advocacy

Goals:

  • To prepare low-income individuals to enter the workforce,
  • To provide community service opportunity for youth involved with the court system, 
  • To help the overall business community in their efforts to create jobs from the bottom up, 
  • To increase the number of skilled workers that are trained and prepared for immediate and future job opportunities

We are proud of the accomplishments we have achieved since 1993 and constantly look to expand our reach to meet needs in communities that can benefit from our programming, services and expertise.

Services

IBSA provides employment & training services, youth development & community service activities, and small business training, development & support services. Donations & contributions both financial and in-kind are fully tax-deductible as allowable under the US Federal IRS Tax Code.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Employment/Self-employment training, services and programs are available under provider agreements with various government agencies & nonprofit organizations.
