IBDEA Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. As an IBDEA member, you will need to go to the official org website and click on “member portal” in the top left-hand header.
2. From here, you must log-in using your IBDEA member credentials to access the member portal which holds both contact and company information.

3. To edit your personal information, ensure you are in your personal profile. To update company-related information, simply “switch profile” to access company information.

Once logged into the member portal, you can access your related profiles (company) and click edit

4. To edit any of your personal contact information, simply click on “edit this profile” in the upper left-hand header.

5. From here you should see your contact information where you can upload a personal profile photo, add in your company name, title, address, and more. Be sure to also reference the left-hand side profile information where more information can be added to such as additional phones, emails, social media, and more.

6.Add/modify as needed and when finished be sure you clicked “Save this Profile”

7. For those looking to update their company profile, be sure to switch your profile to your company using the header button “switch profile” click on your company and repeat the above steps for your company profile.

IBDEA Regular Members are defined as any individual, partnership, or business that goes into bars, breweries, restaurants and other establishments that sell and service beverage equipment, provide beverage products, CO2 and other beverage gases. These companies are fundamental and commonly engaged in the distribution of gases and/or sale, rental, or leasing of beverage dispense equipment. These members look to associate members to sell their equipment, services, or product offerings through distribution channels.

*Servicing beverage dispensing equipment is a pre-requisite for qualification as a regular member*

IBDEA Associate Members are defined as any individual, partnership, association, or business who are engaged in beverage equipment manufacturing, industry supply and/or sell their products to our regular members. These equipment manufacturers provide their offerings for use in restaurant and beverage applications. These members look to regular members to carry their equipment/products for distribution or as an additional service provider.

IBDEA membership dues are based solely on the membership category that is best determined by your type of business. For more information on member categories and dues, click here.

*Please note: IBDEA dues are also not deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes but may be deductible as a business expense.*
