ABOUT LGC
The LGC is a non-profit purchasing cooperative that connects local public agency buyers with quality vendors, empowering a simple, cost-effective and compliant procurement experience. The LGC's Approved Vendor categories focus on the needs of local agencies who build and maintain our roadways, public spaces and critical transportation infrastructure. We use the formal sealed-bid RFP process and committee-reviewed proposals to comply with Idaho's procurement laws of competitive bidding, which are reciprocally compliant in most US states.
SIMPLE | COST EFFECTIVE | COMPLIANT
Buy Confidently | The LGC complies with Idaho's procurement laws to allow for local government agencies in Idaho and reciprocal US states to buy with confidence.
Save Time | Buyers work directly with Approved Vendors to secure pre-procured products and services.
Save Money | Vendors and price lists have been competitively bid and committee reviewed.
Simplicity | Just ask your selected Vendor to apply the LGC contract. That's it!
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Buyers | All political subdivisions, government entities, or associations as defined in Idaho Code §67-2327 are eligible to receive LGC’s pricing. Idaho's formal competitive RFP requirements and reciprocity status also meet the requirements of most US states which allow out of state cooperative piggybacking.
Sellers | Trusted vendors who are interested in securing cooperative contracts, and provide quality products at discounted government pricing. LGC uses the formal, sealed-bid RFP process. All bids reviewed by committee, and awarded based on a combination of factors such as price competitiveness, breadth and quality of products/services, and availability of support.
