HydroDaVE Explorer 2.9

HydroDaVE Explorer is an interactive, web-based Windows application that combines GIS capabilities and allows users to access an SQL database through an internet-connected computer. It supports the ESRI shapefile format and the free OpenStreetMap. Users can select specific monitoring stations (wells or surface water stations) and display them on top of high-resolution aerial photography with pan and zoom capabilities. GIS layers (ESRI shapefiles) can be imported and displayed as a background reference with read-only access to the shapefile attribute table.

The HydroDaVE Explorer is an interactive, web-enabled, Windows application that integrates GIS capabilities and allows users to access the SQL database through an internet-connected computer. HDX supports the ESRI shapefile format and the free OpenStreetMap. The user can select specific monitoring stations (wells or surface water stations) and display them in map view on top of high-resolution aerial photography with pan and zoom capabilities. GIS layers (ESRI shapefiles) can be imported and displayed as a background reference with read-only access to the shapefile attribute table. The user can view photographs and other electronic files associated with wells and/or surface water stations and can visualize time-series data in tabular and graphical formats. The time-series charts are interactive with pan and zoom capabilities. Multiple time-series from different stations can be displayed on the same chart to reveal relationships and the dynamics of the hydrologic system. Data can be exported to the user’s system in PDF or Microsoft Excel format for further analysis or data distribution. Standard reports on the data can be created in tabular format (e.g. MCL exceedance table) and in graphical format (e.g. Piper diagrams). Custom reports can be created for individual clients/users by request.
