It was perilously cold when the agents finally arrived at the Academy. The buildings below them were buried in a thick blanket of snow and, when Wilbur attempted to land on the library roof, Bianca wondered if he was going to skid right over the edge. She’d lost count of the number of Albatross Air flights she’d taken since joining the Rescue Aid Society, but she’d never get used to the landings. They were less exciting than taking off and, in circumstances like this, considerably more dangerous.
