Guide to Accessing Silico.app and Opening the model 

Step 1: Access the Silico Platform 

  1. Open your web browser. 
  1. Go to https://app.pathfwd.io. 

Step 2: Log In or Sign Up 

  • If you already have an account: 
  1. Click “Log In”. 
  1. Enter your email and password or use the supported SSO option for Google accounts. 
  • If you don’t have an account yet: 
  1. Click “Sign Up”. 
  1. Follow the prompts to create your account (You may use your Google account to sign up). 

Step 3: Access the Shared Model 

  1. Click on the link provided. This will direct you to the specific model in Silico. 
  1. To open the model, click on the “Explore model” button 

Step 4: Open and Explore the Model 

  • Once the model is open: 
  • You can view, explore, and edit or run simulations. 
  • You can save a copy of the model on your own account, modify it as you please, and save any modifications you make.

There are two main ways to interact with the Emotional Intelligence model:  

  • You can use the GUI, which contains sliders with which you can control the model inputs and see how this affects the behavior of key outputs, in a direct and simple manner. 
  • You can explore the model itself, located to the right of the GUI, and investigate how the model behaves, how it is constructed, and make more detailed and complex changes if you desire. 

We recommend that users interact primarily through the GUI, as it is constructed to allow anyone to explore how the model behaves, but more advanced users with technical knowledge of System Dynamics modelling and/or the Silico may feel free to explore the model itself.
