The way HUGMi works will come as no surprise to you if you have tried similar apps, like Tinder. If the person on the screen is not what you are looking for, simply swipe left to discard the profile and move on to the next one. My experience using HUGMi

Although HUGMi did not require a phone number to sign up, and everything worked smoothly, displaying quite a lot of data such as nationality or age, many of these profiles seemed to be created by AI apps. Some photos seemed highly unrealistic, which made me doubt the tool's veracity. However, being able to see each "match" from a specific tab was a competitive advantage over other apps like Tinder, which force you to pay to find out more information.

What I liked most about HUGMi and what could be improved

• What I liked most: The app respects your privacy and doesn't force you to provide a phone number to log in. I also found the organization of my "likes" and "matches" quite interesting in comparison to other dating tools that are less generous with the information they offer for free.

• What could be improved: When swiping through profiles, ads do appear relatively frequently. On top of that, many of these ad breaks are lengthy, and this greatly diminishes the user experience. And to top it all off, many profiles appear to have been created using AI.
