	Hello, my name is Arroyo Syra, but you can call me Syra. I am a super sweet Black greyhound. I had a few races (15 races) at Tri State Track in WV but decided I wanted a couch instead. I did okay, I guess at cat testing...I would do great with a cat who puts me in my place...at least I didn't want to eat the cat! I settled really quick in my temporary foster home...no accidents in the house and slept all night. I have just been placed in my foster home so I can learn the finer points of being a pet. Stay tuned for updates. Update: 12/5/2025 Syra is settling in great to retired life! She is very quick to learn all the new rules that come along with living in a house. She has lots of energy and loves to play with squeaky toys and run around the backyard with her two foster brothers. She is such a sweetheart and loves being around people, although she still hasn't figured out the meaning of personal space 😂
