Hack on the Hill (HOTH) is a 12 hour, beginner-friendly hackathon designed to give beginners a glimpse into what a real hackathon would be and feel like. During HOTH, there are workshops, mentors, and amazing prizes for the best hacks. Whether you’re a hackathon veteran or you’ve never been to a hackathon before, Hack on the Hill is the best way to get involved with UCLA’s hacker community and get a feel for what it would be like to attend a real hackathon.
