Our Mission

Our Mission

The mission of Americans for Homeopathy Choice Action is to restore and protect access to the full range of homeopathic medicines for all Americans while ensuring the safety of those medicines. At this point, our mission requires that we seek federal legislation in order to fulfill this mission.

We believe any legislation that seeks to ensure access to the full range of homeopathic medicines should also seek to create conditions that will maintain a diversity of suppliers in a resilient and competitive marketplace. This will serve consumers and practitioners by making sure the full range is available and affordable while also setting the stage for innovation in homeopathic medicine.

What We Believe

We believe modern medicine can co-exist with homeopathy and other traditional healing arts. Many doctors trained at the world’s medical colleges are choosing to incorporate traditional healing arts into their practices to complement and sometimes replace modern medical interventions. These doctors accept that there can be more than one useful model of human health and disease and are glad to have the option to use whichever model works most effectively for their patients.

We think the full array of treatment options should be available to physicians and patients. We believe that responsibility for health decisions ought to rest with the adult who is being treated or whose children are being treated.

We believe modern medicine has much to offer the sick and the injured.

We believe in our freedom to choose homeopathy.

We believe that we have the right to choose our own health care options.

We believe that health care—like education and jeans—is NOT one size fits all.

We believe in education over suppression of information.  The more people know, the better they can serve their families, their friends, their employers and their communities.

We believe that we are everyday world changers.

We believe that change is possible and that we need to join hands to make change.

We believe that we need to demand better from our public officials.

We believe that most of us agree more often than the media and our politicians want us to believe we do.

We believe that there is more that unites us than divides us.

We believe that we can disagree and still be respectful.

We believe we can disagree and make the world a better place─at the same time.

We believe that moms want what is best for their families and will fight hard for the right to do that.

We believe that people can make mistakes, and we can love them in spite of their mistakes.

We believe that kisses really make owies feel better.

We believe that kindness is always better than anger.

We believe community is a powerful thing.
