Dear Yuletide writer:
Yay, we have at least one fandom in common! Just for that, may I say that you totally rock! I hope that you have an eventful Yuletide.
Below you will find what basically amounts to an essay on what I like lol. I can’t help it, I just tend to get a bit carried away when it comes to fic and what I love about it. Kind of like the snowball effect, once you get me talking about it, I find it a bit hard to slow down. First off, may I preface all of this by saying that these are general ideas. If you have a particular idea that really hits you, I know what that can be like. You lock the plot bunny in the cellar only to find that it tunnels its way out :P If you have a specific fic you want to write, please do. I promise you I will be thrilled with it. Just having fic written in any of the below fandoms would be amazing as it’s not something that I get to experience all too often.

Guys, if you love this show as much as I do, please consider donating to the Kickstarter campaign to make this movie finally, FINALLY happen. If they make their $2 million goal, the movie is a go. They are already almost 60% there in the one day that the Kickstarter fund for this project has been open.
I've never donated to a project via Kickstarter before, but this is totally worth it. I pledged $35 which gets you a copy of the script, a t-shirt, and a digital copy of the film within a few days of its theatrical release. A pretty good deal in my opinion. If you love the show, please think about donating (and spread the news!).

Enough waxing eloquent, onto the good stuff now, right?
p.s. – before you get into reading prompt specifics later on in this letter, please be aware that the prompt for each fandom is likely rife with spoilers (mostly canonical moments that I’m using to demonstrate what I love about the story or moments I would love to see expanded on in fan-fic). If you hit a fandom where you’d like to read the canon material but haven’t, and that is not the prompt you are visiting this letter for, I would recommend skipping that entire prompt and finding the fandom/prompt we share in common.

These are some of my favorite Leverage fics in the fandom for any who might be interested in checking them out!
Home Sweet Home by Fleur27
Rating: PG-13
Summary: After discovering that Parker isn't living in the apartment he gave her, Hardison and Eliot engage in a bumbling game of cat-and-mouse to try to discover where she's living. Set at an indeterminate time after S2. word count:7300.
Why read this fic? This fic is a lot of fun and really stays true to the fits of giggles the show routinely finds me engaging in. It's a wonderful piece about Eliot, Hardison, and Parker where the boys are curious as to where she lives. Parker, as usual, thinks this is all a very fun game.
The Pro and Con Job by Cathartes
Rating: PG-13
Summary: There are men behind her, and dogs. Word Count: 13,000.
Why read this fic? I love this fic for it's writing style. It's third person limited from Parker's POV, but the author does a *stunning* job of writing from her perspective. Quite easily the best Parker voice I've found in the fandom.
Life in Death by steeleblue
Rating: PG-13
Summary: After Life, there's Death, which is actually a lot like Life. Written for au_bingo prompt 'Fantasy & Supernatural: The Afterlife.' Word count: 1,700.
Why read this fic? A wonderfully humorous piece where each team member has a role in managing the flow of souls into the afterlife. The author picks the perfect role for each character.
Thicker Than Blood by scout_lover
Rating: PG-13 for language
Summary: Eliot already has a sister. Parker had a brother. Once. They don’t need siblings. But they do need each other. And, really, that’s all it takes to make a family. word count: 1800.
Why read this fic? This fic really fleshes out Eliot and Parker's relationship. It captures their voices perfectly and really has an amazing sense of balance. The author's style and the plot come together to form a wonderful picture of how these two relate to one another.
It's All So Clear to Me Now by fools_game
Rating: PG
Summary:Pairings: Background Alec/Eliot and Nate/Sophie. Parker sees more than some people think. Word count: 1,500 words.
Why read this fic? This fic is from Parker's POV and is a wonderful fic that really paints a stunning portrait of the team as a family. It wasn't the one they were born with, but it's certainly the one they've chosen.
Nowhere to Run by scout_lover
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Eliot reflects on what he can expect his fate to ultimately be in his line of work.
Why read this fic? A bit heart-wrenching at moments, but this fic really gets into Eliot's head and under the reader's skin, beautifully explaining Eliot's view on life and death and where he expects the road between to take him.
It's the Great Pumpkin, Eliot Spencer! by scout_lover
Rating: PG-13 (language)
Summary: Parker crack. Hardison, Parker, and Eliot chat about the nature of Halloween. Eliot is not amused by these shenanigans.
Why read this fic? The author nailed it in one, this really is hilarious crack. Had me laughing so hard my roommate popped into the room to see just what the heck I was cackling at.
The Apple Orchard by Sapphire Smoke
Rating: PG
Summary: Parker has a different way of apple picking then most people.
Why read this fic? This 2300 word fic is noteworthy for nailing Parker and Hardison's relationship spot on. It's a great little fic for those scenes between the jobs that we rarely see and fleshing out our favorite characters
We're All Mad Here
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Eliot fully expects to come back to the office one day, to find blade traps, and spike pits everywhere.
Why read this fic? A wonderful little fic (<1000 words) where Eliot reflects on just how crazy his adopted family really is, and quite frankly, how he wouldn't have it any other way.
Escapology by pogrebin
Rating: PG-13
Summary: They're in it for the long con.
Why read this fic?Parker/Eliot/Hardison ship, 1,500 words on what it means to be a con artist. This fic is pure gold for its amazingly vivid and poetic writing styles. To date, one of my favorite fics in the fandom.
Notes on Nate's Fridge by Missy2K
Rating PG
Summary The team members leave notes to one another on Nate's fridge.
Why read this fic? This fic is graphics based as opposed to text based. It's one thing to write a story, but to write it with graphics as this author did takes time and dedication that really raise the fic to the next level. It's also so funny that it had me laughing until I cried. If you enjoy this fic, it has two other parts. Part 2 and Part 3

But I liked the pigtails best. (I mean I do that all the time but I'm a girl and not in need of being manly ;) ).
Oh and the old woman was second best. Really Eliot,…
