Historic preservation matters.

Over the 54 years since Historic Boulder was founded, the organization has been directly and indirectly responsible for the preservation of over 1,300 legacy buildings………… structures that, every day, assert the unique and innovative spirit of this community.

Fostering the spirit and promoting the benefits of preservation as we:

EDUCATE

Education is at the core of our public programming because an informed society is an empowered society.

ADVOCATE

By its nature, preservation requires an ongoing commitment that is larger than any individual. This is why working together toward common goals is so important.

REHABILITATE

The purpose of renovations and true preservation projects is to breathe new life into the old, so that it may also serve the future.

CELEBRATE

All work and no play makes preservation a dull game! Be sure to check out our Events Calendar and join in the fun!

We are the only country in the world that trashes its old buildings. Too late we realize how very much we need them.
