We’re thrilled to announce that Shoonya Kids has been awarded a Federal SBIR Grant from the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences (ED/IES) to expand our multilingual numeracy and literacy programs to include foundational math curriculum!

We’ve added two brand-new skip counting activities to support early numeracy!
- Count & Build – Stack dice to complete colorful towers while counting by 1s, 2s, and 5s.
- Skip Count Maze – Find the hidden path through a colorful number grid while skip counting by 2s, 5s, or 10s.
Both activities support number fluency, pattern recognition, and counting strategies.
We’ve also added Spanish digraphs and made lots of small performance improvements, animations, and bug fixes to make the experience smoother.
