Who we are
Nate Walston – Hilltop Water Founder
My name is Nate Walston, and I am proud to call myself a fourth-generation Montanan. Since 2000, I have called Stillwater County home, building a life rooted in hard work, community, and family.
My professional journey began at the Stillwater Mine, where I worked as a mechanic for nearly five years. Seeking to expand my horizons, I spent the next 12 years in Juneau, Alaska, working in the mining industry as a mechanic, trainer, supervisor, and eventually as a maintenance superintendent. These experiences were both rewarding and challenging, shaping my work ethic and problem-solving skills.
Despite the career growth, my heart has always been in Montana. My wife and I recently welcomed our first child, and the desire to be present for her milestones brought us back home. Returning to Stillwater County has reignited my commitment to serving this community, which led to the creation of Hilltop Water.
Recognizing the need for reliable water delivery services in rural areas, I founded Hilltop Water to help families and businesses enjoy the convenience of a dependable water source. We are licensed, insured, dedicated to making your life easier, and here for the long haul.
