Secure API Keys: Additional Security Measure for Your Site

This video shows you how to use the Secure API Keys feature.

When first setting up Memberium “X” you may be presented with a warning banner that says:

“Security Recommendation:
Your API keys and secrets are currently being stored with encryption.”

The warning will give you a small code snippet that should be added to your wp-config.php file in order to allow Memberium to encrypt your API keys. This is a one-time setup that will enhance the security of your site, your HighLevel API keys, and any other API keys that Memberium stores and connects to.

If you need any assistance setting up this feature, Memberium support is here to help!

Please email support@memberium.com and be sure to include the following for expedited assistance:

  1. Link to your website
  2. WordPress admin login
  3. FTP/SFTP access to your site (so we can update your wp-config.php)
