Tutorial #13:
I was working on an extra project so i could get extra points in math, and for that I also made icons. I think i like the coloring of a couple of them,so i thought i'd share the technique with you! Please Keep in mind this is meant to give you some ideas,not to copy the icon.
We'll go from bottom to top.
 ->Normal
 ->color dodge,100%
 ->color burn,100%
 ->multiply,100%
To get the gradient maps you goto layers->new adjustment layer->gradient map
Then I added text, and that's it! I couldn't really do much to this one as it would have ended up looking too busy...If you want to know how to make your text glow, check out here.*

I would like to issue a challenge. My challenge out there is to make an enviromental awarness icon. You can use whatever pics you want, and icons are judged by me. Winners will get a pretty banner. This challenge stems from something I had to make something for, "Project CLUE"(i forget what CLUE stands for...) proticipation banner for anyone who takes part:
you can make up to three icons for this contest.
EDIT: Actually, the contest is for icons that send a message (i.e. eliminate poverty,give blood,search for a cure,adopt a child,etc.) and you can contribute as many as you want! PLEASE do this. I think if you have talent that it's important to put to a good use (not that what you do isn't good, but what i mean is to send a message). I will make banners for the winners and a new participation one if you wish.
Challenge #2
Portray some kind of philosophy (i.e. marxism,one of the belief systems of ancient philosophers like plato,etc.) Participation banner will be made soon. You can submit as many as you like.

I have *so* many thoughts, which i will place under a cut, so if you read it, don't blame me...BUT, I will urge anyone to think before you vote, to take the time to know what's going on first, don't just follow the crowd. Don't just vote for who's popular or what the media's saying...
