HiDTV is Geniatech’s TV viewing and personal video recorder (PVR) application for Windows PCs. Designed for use with compatible Geniatech/MyGica TV tuner devices, it lets you watch live television on your computer, pause and time‑shift broadcasts, and schedule recordings. It includes channel scanning and management, an electronic program guide (EPG) where available, one‑click and timer‑based recording, support for subtitles/closed captions and teletext (region dependent), screenshot capture, and remote‑control support with select Geniatech tuners. Available features may vary by tuner model and local broadcast standards.
