Our Approach
Our grantmaking model is designed to identify and champion organizations that build resilience in children and families. We leverage a unique, multidisciplinary collaboration: HFC Academic Consultants, a global network of social welfare experts, lead HFC Grants Committees composed of dedicated professionals from the Alternative Investment industry. This model ensures our investments target rigorously effective and high-impact programs with proven solutions that protect children and strengthen communities worldwide.
Backed by Academic Excellence
HFC’s commitment to protecting children and families is anchored by a unique academic collaboration that ensures local relevance and optimal impact. HFC’s Academic Consultants are social welfare experts and faculty from local universities in our grantmaking locations. Their extensive social work training and local ties provide unparalleled knowledge of the specific organizations, initiatives, and needs on the ground. This rigorous, locally informed network creates a global brain trust that powerfully vets every grant, guaranteeing our funding supports the most effective, community-strengthening programs focused on protecting children and families worldwide.
