A day on the job for Cesario starts early with making sure all team members know where to go and answer any questions they might have. Cesario also attends the morning safety meeting. He then completes routine inspections of the houses to ensure everything is running properly, checks trailer levels to see if they need to be dumped, and works on upcoming projects.
His favorite part of the job is that every day brings something different. To succeed in this position, Cesario believes it’s important to be responsible, positive, and communicative, to treat others kindly.
Outside of work, Cesario enjoys spending time with his wife and family. During the summer, he likes going to the park, cooking outdoors, and working on his cars. This December, he is looking forward to taking a three‑week trip to Mexico to spend time with extended family.

A day on the job for Parker involves ensuring food safety and quality standards are met throughout the plant. This includes completing wash water and refrigeration checks, performing 100‑egg samples to evaluate interior and exterior egg quality, and communicating incoming egg quality with processing and production teams. Parker’s favorite part of the job is the strong connection of the team and the ongoing opportunities to grow and expand knowledge. To succeed in this position, you must communicate well with others, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Outside of work, Parker enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, discovering new music, listening to podcasts, and watching The Office. Parker is looking forward to a trip to Chicago in early August.

A day on the job for Zosimo starts early at 3 a.m. He completes his paperwork, performs pre‑trip inspections, and heads out to direct‑deliver to 8 Meijer stores each day, driving an average of 250–350 miles. After returning to the farm, he finishes his paperwork and completes a post‑trip inspection. Zosimo’s favorite part of his job is taking care of customers, building relationships, and enjoying the independence of driving a semi‑truck.
To succeed in this position, you must be patient, take pride in your work, and be understanding with customers. Outside of work, Zosimo enjoys spending time with his four adult children and four grandchildren, as well as working on cars. Zosimo looks forward to his annual trip to San Miguel during Christmas, where he spends 2–3 weeks visiting family.

A day on the job for Mike involves overseeing a team of four as they turn manure into organic fertilizer. His responsibilities include loading customer trucks, creating shipping tickets, handling machine maintenance and equipment repairs, and supporting his team to ensure daily operations run smoothly. Mike’s favorite part of his job is building a team‑centered work environment and working together to meet customer orders.
To succeed in this position, you must be able to multitask between computers and machines, have strong mechanical skills, and motivate team members so they feel valued. Outside of work, Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on his 300‑acre farm.

A day on the job for Fray begins with a maintenance safety meeting, followed by checking feed, water, ventilation, and temperatures in his assigned houses. Once he confirms everything is running smoothly, he moves on to preventative maintenance. Fray’s favorite part of his job is fixing machine issues and keeping equipment operating efficiently.
To succeed in this position, Fray believes you must be quick to recognize and solve problems, communicate well, work as a team, and maintain a positive attitude. Outside of work, he enjoys soccer, mixed martial arts, working out, and talking with his family in Mexico.

She plays an essential role in maintaining biosecurity and helping the day run smoothly for everyone. She also helps ensure team members feel comfortable and have their proper PPE in working order. Her favorite thing about work is greeting everyone each day—she says everyone here is so kind!

Jade’s favorite part of his job is that every day is different—he gets to help others, tackle difficult fixes, and learn new tasks.
To succeed in this position, you must work well with others, enjoy a variety of hands‑on jobs, and be ready to solve problems on the spot.
Outside of work, Jade enjoys spending time with his family and his six‑month‑old daughter! Since Jade is on the journey of fatherhood he has no plans to travel any time soon so he can focus on every moment with his daughter!

Tony is a Service Crew Supervisor at our Main Farm and has been part of the Herbruck’s team for 20 years!
A common day on the job for Tony begins with checking in with his team members to make sure they have everything they need for their work outdoors. Inside, Tony focuses on making sure his first‑shift team members are helping prepare the barns for the de‑population and re‑population of flocks. He also supports second‑shift team members, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to monitor the flocks later in the day.
Tony’s favorite thing about work is his team. Their teamwork, heart, and commitment to helping the company succeed make leading them one of the greatest pleasures of his career.
To succeed in this position, Tony believes you must be motivated, ready to work, and understand the importance of maintaining clean barns and strict biosecurity for every incoming flock.
Outside of work, Tony enjoys volunteering, giving back to the community, and coaching his daughters in sports. He also enjoys attending church bible study with friends as they grow in their faith and serve the Lord together.
Tony has some exciting vacation plans ahead—he is looking forward to visiting his mom in Denver, and traveling to Florida, Georgia, and Texas to spend time with family. He’s also hoping to make a special stop at Disneyland!

A typical day on the job at Herbruck’s for Greg includes delivering parts and supplies everywhere they are needed, emptying wheelbarrows and several other tasks throughout the day that support his coworkers. His favorite part about working at Herbruck’s is the satisfaction he gets from providing others with what they need to accomplish their jobs and keeping them motivated throughout the day.
To be successful in this position, it is important to come in every day with a positive attitude and be ready to work hard.
When he is not at work, Greg likes to go swimming and walking. He also enjoys Lake Michigan a lot. He recently spent his Christmas vacation in Texas with his family. Thank you, Greg, for all of your hard work and service!

A typical day on the job at Herbruck’s for Zach includes ensuring buffers are in place before startup and performing daily preventative maintenance to make sure the egg grader runs properly. These tasks are essential in preventing downtime.
To be successful in this position, it is important to be patient, flexible and have the ability to act fast to make sure problems are solved. Zach enjoys the variety in his work and switching gears from one project to another, because you never know exactly what you will encounter day by day!

A typical day on the job at Herbruck’s for Kasey includes managing all the contract layer farms in Indiana. She prepares new team members with the proper training to enter the barns. She also delivers supplies to the seasoned growers and gets new staff prepared for new flock barn turn over.
To be successful in this position, it is important to use good communication and be flexible because new situations arise on a regular basis. You must also have a good attitude and always be prepared for new challenges while growing your knowledge base. Kasey enjoys the variety in her work and the fact that she is always learning from her mentors.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family at rodeos as well as camping. This summer she will be traveling through Michigan and Indiana to attend rodeos! Thank you, Kasey, for all your hard work and service!

A day on the job for Emily involves performing a variety of HACCP and quality checks. She verifies wash tanks, grades eggs, and checks product packaging and date codes to ensure everything meets Herbruck’s standards of quality and safety. Emily’s favorite part of her role is that she’s always learning something new! Every day brings a new opportunity to grow her knowledge and skills.
To succeed in this position, Emily believes flexibility, attention to detail, and patience are key to ensure every product leaving the line is something to be proud of. Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her two dogs, Beans and Zela. She’s a big Taylor Swift fan and loves relaxing with music. This Spring she’s planning a family vacation to Dewey Beach, Delaware.
