FlipHTML5 has developed a new feature: Accessibility, which ensures smooth navigation and seamless access to digital publications for all users, especially those with visual impairments.

By enabling the feature, FlipHTML5 will extract the text from your flipbook, and your readers can enlarge it further.

Visually impaired readers can also access the content through text-to-speech conversion using built-in screen readers or third-party applications like VoiceOver and TalkBack, which allow them to listen to the extracted text.

Enable the Accessibility #

Click [Publications] on the dashboard -> Select an existing digital book and click [Customize].

Another way to enable the accessibility setting: click [Accessibility] on the customized interface -> turn on the button, and the accessibility icon appears.

You can:

  • Click [A-] to decrease font size
  • Click [A+] to increase font size
  • Click [Previous page] or [Next page] to turn pages

Note: FlipHTML5 is compatible with third-party screen-reading applications, but doesn’t provide an integrated text-to-speech tool.
