To ensure optimal performance and compatibility when using our Elementor-based template, it is crucial that your hosting environment meets certain technical requirements. This section provides detailed information on the minimum server specifications needed for both WordPress and Elementor. Ensuring your server complies with these requirements will help avoid issues related to speed, stability, and functionality.

WordPress Requirements

Before installing Elementor and your template, the hosting server must meet the core requirements for WordPress, as outlined below:

1. PHP Version 7.4 or Higher WordPress requires PHP version 7.4 or later to function properly. Using PHP 8.0 or 8.1 is recommended for enhanced performance and security. For more details, refer to the PHP official documentation.
2. MySQL Version 5.7 or Higher / MariaDB Version 10.3 or Higher Your database server must support either MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+ for WordPress to operate without issues.
3. HTTPS Support A server that supports HTTPS is strongly recommended for security purposes, particularly if sensitive data is being transmitted. Refer to your hosting provider’s documentation on enabling SSL certificates.

Elementor Requirements

Once WordPress is installed, it is important that your hosting environment also meets the requirements set by Elementor for smooth operation. These are:

3. MySQL Version 5.6 or Higher Elementor requires MySQL 5.6+ or higher, though version 5.7+ is preferable for better stability and compatibility.
4. WordPress Version 6.0 or Higher To ensure full compatibility, Elementor should be used with WordPress version 6.0 or newer.
5. Required PHP Extensions Elementor also requires several PHP extensions for full functionality:
   • cURL For connecting the server with various external services.
   • DOM Helps Elementor manage HTML structures.
   • GD Library or ImageMagick For image processing tasks.
   • Zip Used when importing/exporting templates.

For the best results, we suggest the following configurations for your server:

• Web Server: Use Nginx or Apache with mod_rewrite support to maximize the performance of WordPress and Elementor.
• SSL: Implementing SSL (HTTPS) not only enhances security but also improves SEO rankings.
• PHP Time Limit: Set a PHP time limit of at least 300 seconds to prevent timeouts during complex operations. You can adjust this in your php.ini file or by contacting your hosting provider.
